Description

I did this after reading Greg Martin's tutorial on making planets with ps7. Not only did I learn how to do that, but I also learned a lot of new aspects of photoshop that I had never used before, so it was quite instructional for me. Thanks again to Greg Martin for his extremely useful tutorial.

Lens flares = evil... but still good to see you learning new techniques.

Well, I don't like to use them, but I don't really know of a better way to get the look I was going for. I am hoping some more tutorials get made in the future, especially on how to paint really vibrant nebulae and whatnot.

Since a lens flare occurs inside the camera's lens, wouldn't it not be obscured by the planet? I am not a photographer, so I'm not sure.

But this is quite good. I read the tutorial and I feel like trying it myself.
